Ethiopia – Bombe Washing Station – Washed

The washing station has been named after the Bombe mountain, which lays in the Sidama region. The producer, Asefa, has implemented drying tables with high quality shade mesh canopies. This ensures a slower and more gentle drying of the coffee cherries. They are also planning to get an eco depulper, which gives more control and precision in the processing of the coffee. It also decreases the water usage a lot! Some places in Ethiopia use up to 3 million litres less in the peak of the season!
