Brazil – Mantiqueira Mountains – Pulped Natural

This coffee has been produced by various smallholders from the Carmo de Minas region in Brazil. They are part of the Cocarive cooperative. The cooperative has its own quality control center and its own processing station, where they grade, cup, and process all incoming parchment. This coffee is a pulped natural, which means that after picking the cherries, only the outer skin of the cherry is removed. The fruit pulp remains while drying the beans. This gives the coffee an extra intense layer.
